Climate adaptation and mitigation initiatives are not only necessary to protect our way of life until a permanent solution to the global climate issue emerges, but they also represent business opportunities that promise to be a major driver of economic growth in the years and decades ahead. Engaging and supporting Florida’s emerging climate economy is a key CAC goal.
Florida has deep expertise in climate-related science, with more than a dozen institutes of higher learning. In addition, Florida’s economy is the 17th-largest in the world. We have the raw materials to address our climate issues – let’s put them together and build solutions!
